Here is Kenny Tran getting ready to dyno-tune my car and a picture of his sub 8.5sec, 170 mph 1/4 mile Quaker State Civic.
Here is my dyno from 5-25-04. This was with the JR supercharger with 4" pulley (5psi of boost), JR race header, CarSound hi-flow cat, and HONDATA JRSC reflash. The 214.3whp correlates to about 268hp, so about 70 more horsies than a stock Type-S. The torque is about 30 ft-lbs more than stock also. Not bad.
Here is my dyno from 6-11-04. This was done with the same set-up, except with 3.4" pulley (7psi of boost), HONDATA K-Pro programmable ECU, and Greddy EVO2 exhaust. After Kenny was done tuning my car, 245whp and 179 ft-lbs of torque was the result! Much, much better! There is a huge difference between 5psi and 7psi in the way car feels. Also, you can see that the torque is 179 ft-lbs, about 150% more than stock. Your butt will now be firmly planted into the back of the seat at wide open throttle. The dyno on the right shows a comparison between the two set-ups.
Just for grins, this is a compilation of all 8 dyno runs performed so far on my car. You can see that 249whp was my maximum (top most pink line), which correlates to about 310hp, more than 110hp more than stock. When the weather cools down here in Texas (two days in January), I'll go back to the dyno and see how colder, more denser air affects my results.
