Please excuse that i don't have my car on here.. I do have a CLK It just wouldn't let me add on for a boat.. Anyhow this process may help any new comers to fiberglassing as many others helped me in my process.
Boat came with 2 - 5" Speakers.. crack and pop at 1/4 volume.. And the hang out on the lake has expensive boats with top dollar manurfacture systems.. So decided to add 2 - 15" Kickers along with 6 - 6 1/2's and 2 - 6x9's with prolly.. 3 amps undecided..
Space was very limited so I took a dive into fiberglassing a custom box.. So far it is coming along.. Little expensive for supplies if you don't already have them.. but better than shelling out 100's of dollars for fiberglass box!!
Passenger Side structure.. still building...

Driver side with Fabric..

Driver Side after 6-7 layers of resin... Sanding down roughness with 60 grit.. and Shaping edges and amp rack with Dremel

Adding bondo to fill voids and create smoothness

Driver side that had nothing but waiste of space and a cup holder that was NEVER used..

Panel in place with bondo sanded to 220 grit.. Just need finer sand paper and cut out 6 1/2's.. Than primer and paint...
