This picture was taken shortly after it was painted. Someone stole my IROC rims and tires and then vandalized the entire car.  Every panel was either dented or scratched. The car used to be black.

red88rocz's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro This picture was taken at the 2006 Camaro Nationals in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. It's a great show if you have a camaro or just like them you have to check it out at least once. It was my first time at the Camaro Nationals and I was lucky enough to take 2nd place in my class (mild modified).

Some random shots.....

I have owned the car for since 1998(I am the 4th owner). The car used to be black until one night it got vandalized....then the transformation began. New paint, new hood, new wheels, new interior etc... The engine is the stock 305 ci with mild modifications (small cam, roller rockers, other bolt on items). I had the car dyno'd 2 years ago and managed 225 hp at the rear wheels. I have since swapped the automatic tranny for a 5 speed (a lot more fun to drive) and added under drive pulleys (plan to dyno again this year).

Here's a list of what I've done so far;
Engine:  Keith-Black hypereutectic pistons, balanced rotating assembly, Comp-Cams rocker arms and springs, Corvette valve covers, Comp-Cams camshaft, custom air box with K&N filter, gasket matched & polished intake, factory runners & plenum gasket matched and polished, TPI airfoil, 8.8mm Accel wires, custom programmed chip, March underdrive pulleys with A/C delete pulley and bracket.
Exhaust:  1-5/8" Jet Hot Coated Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster cat-back system, Ractive tips.
Drivetrain:  5-speed manual (converted from 4 speed automatic), Centerforce clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, MOMO shift knob, 3.73:1 gears.
Chasis:  Edelbrock 3 point strut tower brace, Spohn sub-frame connectors (welded).
Wheels & Tires:  Simmons 17 x 8 front, 17 x 9.5 rear (widened), BF Goodrich g-force TA KDW P245/40-17 front, P275/40-17 rear.
Interior:  Ractive racing seats re-covered in silver/black, ACC custom floor mats, MOMO steering wheel & shift knob, Auto Meter gauges.
Body & Paint:  Ram Air hood, High Rise Spoiler re-worked to fit the car. Paint color is "Torch Red"

Here are some pictures with the new spoiler on.

Pictures from the 2007 Camaro Nationals in Niagara Falls area:

The rear wheels were widened from 8" to 9.5" to fit 275's. The spoiler on the rear deck lid is off of a 1992 RS.  It took a lot of time to get it to fit right but I'm happy with the results.

red88rocz's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro Here are some shots of the interior that I had done last year. The front seats are racing seats that I had recovered in a pattern that I came up with. I had the rear seats redone to match.

Plan on lowering the car and exhaust update for the 2009 cruising season......will post pictures when complete.
