Adding Stock Navigation to Non-Nav Equiped Model
Before:

After:

Process (Although not in detail)
Hooked system up to make sure it even worked before I installed the unit in the dash completely. I connected just enough wires to make it turn on, then I worked in detail to get the illumination of the buttons working, then the antenna working, then the voice guidance wires connected properly.
Screen (without paint):
I had to spray paint the dash piece that covers the LCD screen because it came from a tan I35 and did not match. It matched very well with the flat black paint and a mist of silver, but it was very rough and dust stuck to it like glue.
Here's without the enamel. It looks quite good, but
the trim around the stereo
and nav system were tan and
did not match, so I just
decided to repaint everything.

I repainted it with the same colors and added a clear enamel sealant to make it smooth. When it did that, it changed the color slightly, so I decided to paint the vent cover, navigation unit face, stereo face, and climate control face to make everything match. It couldn't have turned out better.
Here's the paint I used (minus the clear enamel) Silver is on the left, black on the right.

Finished product with everything painted with clear enamel.

I bought an aftermarket antenna because they get a better signal than stock gps antennas. I was able to mount it hidden in the sunroof opening.

Navigation/stereo stack got a new paint job because as much as I liked the piano gloss black, you could see every spec of dust. Metalic silver was the can of choice. Came out excellent. I debated painting other parts, but decided to leave it simple and only keep the center stack silver to 'highlight' it.
