This is my car a 1979 pontiac trans am. I have owned this car for a few years now most of which it is spending in the garage but this will soon change. It was a daily driver for almost a year. I am in the middle of a engine swap. !!PLEASE!! sign my guestbook, rate my ride, and take the poll. Check out my 1972 Chevy C-10. Thanks!

The car has the WS6 package with four wheel disc brakes and has the 403 oldsmobile small block. My plans have changed. Instead of building the 403 I am going to swap in a pontiac 400. Right now I am only interested in getting it back driving so I am going to use the stock transmission.  I'll try to keep the updates coming with more pictures of the car and the swap as soon as possible. That reminds me does anyone need a set of rebuilt Oldsmobile 350 heads?

I just found a pontiac 400 for the car. I am going to go and pick it up.  I have the engine, finally!  It is still in the back of my truck so I will take some pictures once I get it out.

Here are some pictures of the pontiac 400 I just bought.  I paid $500 for the whole engine compete from carberator to oil pan.

Here is what I found when I took off the lifter valley cover.  The oil has hardened to a rocky-gunky build up all over the lifter valley.  I am very glad I descided to take the engine apart to clean it.
