2 week old Tribute. Mild mods include 20" Gran Turismo Rims w/ 255/40 Toyo tires. Esperil lowering springs.
Custom-made upper and lower black aluminum mesh grills. I felt the radiator and oil cooler were much too exposed to the possibility of stray rocks.
Esperil (made in Japan) lowering springs good for approx. 2" drop
Settled for 20 inchers because the 22" or 24" rims would force me to use series 35, 30 or thinner tires which would make the ride much harsher and bumpy, not to mention the dire consequences of encounters with speedbumps or potholes
Next step is to order a bolt-on supercharger from Kenne-Bell. I'm generally a DIY guy but I feel this project calls for some help from the real mechanics.
