Black n Blown '70 Malibu

Thanks for dropping by and checking out my Chevelle. I've owned this 1970 Malibu for nearly 11 years and during that time, she's had a few engine configurations and one other paint scheme. This car used to have an ivory color with red band-aids but now has a solid black single-stage urethane finish, which was laid down in late '06. There are many more pics of the car and more specific information about all modifications made at: www.bruteforcechevelle.com

For power, the Chevrolet big block has 502 cubic inches and is breathed on by an 8-71 BDS blower. It's fed by twin Holley 750 double pumper carburators. The rear gearing is a 4.10 Eaton posi and the tranny is a heavily modified 2004R four speed overdrive unit from a Grand National. It produced nearly 791 horsepower on the dyno and 780 ft. lbs. of torque - and all on 93 octane pump gas.

She drives very well on the street and is more of a weekend cruiser only. I've never taken it to the track with the current engine configuration but I can tell you that this car will get there - and quick!
