This is my Merkur 1989 It came by way of misfortune.A tree fell on my 87 Thunderbird T/C.I had a great engine and drivetrain waiting for a body,A great Turboford.org member "Sluggo" Had a Merkur he was going to part out,and I needed a body(rolling chassis) Bada Bing Bada Booml.He keep the engine and trans. I got the body.The engine is a T/C 2.3l with the following mods Bob"ford"lee log header,ported upper and lower intake,65mm SN95 T/B,Megasquirt-N-spark-Extra 75lbsperhr injectors,255lph hipsi fuelpump,ranger rollercam,RacerWalsh adj. camgear,Adj. fpr,A holset hy35 turbo custom 3" exhaust,a hks SSQ b.o.v, and sooo much more. I'll udate with more pics and info. as I can load them.
UPDATE
Installed a Stinger header&38mm external wastegate. Had the rear fenders flared,tuned the megasquirt for 25psi...still too rich on the topend will sort this out later....But Good gosh the HOLSET hits hard like a like a light switch@ 3k.....
