IN PROGRESS

Ok so this is the page where people get to see what I'm doing with the rust problems my truck has. Well, my only main problem areas were the drivers cab corner, drivers side wheel arch, and a spot on the passenger side of the bed.

Bought some Summit Street View Mirrors. Look pretty good, if I must say so myself.

All of the body work from above is being redone. Unfortunately, it wasn't done quite properly. I regret not planning it through completely but it'll get taken care of. I bought a weld in rollpan, tailgate handle relocator kit, and a license plate box to go in my tailgate. Along with all of this I got a bed that was and is almost completely rust free. The only problem is with the underside. Anyways, on with some pics!

I got a new hood for my truck. The one that is currently on it has rust on the edge where there are mounting holes for a bug deflector. I got the hood for free, my girlfriend's cousin didn't want to pay to repair some scratches on it (looks like it was keyed) and he was gonna scrap it. I took advantage of the situation and it now belongs to me.

My stepfather and I got some filler work done together and I ventured out to get some new bed supports. The ones on this bed are rotted somethin fierce.

Added a plate box to my tailgate, 2'' deep. Also relocated the tailgate handle to the other side of the gate; I'll be gettin the filler welded in shortly.

thanks for the comment man. yeah, i would highly suggest sanding smooth. starting with like 120 grit and working your way up with high build primer and bulldog adhesive promoter. follow the sticky at the top of the interior section on the forum. and have it sprayed with a gun instead of rattle bomb... it will look badass!
