1993 Ford Mustang LX It only had 59,000 original miles when i purchased it. I have big plans for it. Thanks for looking at my page leave a comment and let me know what you think. If you have any suggestions let me know. Picture of the car when i first got it.
Pictures out in the driveway.
Picture of my Brothers 1992 LX and 1987 GT
3/05/2007 Got my rims and 5 lug conversion kit. 3/24/07 Finally got some tires(235/45ZR-17 General Exclaim UHP) on the rims.
5/26/2007 Got a new truck. 2007 Ford Ranger
6/2/2007 Took my mustang to a car show. Didn't win anything. Was parked next to a '66 conv. and an old willys
6/18/2007 Currently have the rearend out to put in the 4.10 gears and install the bbk upper and lower control arms. Also the bbk headers, bbk x-pipe and flowmaster catback.
You can probably see that the pionion seal was leaking pretty good. Also can see how i had the driveshaft hanging so i wouldn't have to take it out.
Yeah..I'm sure the bushings aren't supposed to be smashed forward like this.
This is what happens when the exhaust is rubbing against the axle tube.
Before cleaning.. And After..
The passenger side header ended up having a hole in it.They weren't worth fixing...so i decided to go ahead and get a new set of headers...
I'm glad my father decided to check my ring gear over before i bolted it on.....
7/5/2007 Got my new headers...
Somtimes you can get hurt doing simple things.
7/22/2007 Got the axle back under the car finally...
Taking the car to get the exhaust put on. Tryed to put the exhaust on myself but the x-pipe wasn't bent correct.
Just got the car back from the muffler shop.
Just some pictures of the car.
10/18/2007 Got my new adjustment plates for my headlights.
12/02/2007 Put the car in storage for winter. After i pulled it in i noticed the water pump and radiator was leaking...So i guess my next upgrade is a new water pump and aluminum radiator.
3/6/2008 Got my new radiator.
4/27/2008 Out with the old in with the new
10-5-2008 Got UPR's tubular k member kit.
12-25-2008 Got a Flaming River Manual Steering Rack and a maximum motorsports steering shaft.
5-12-2009 Took my car to the dragstrip. Ran 14.546 @ 95.45 MPH.....Could've done better if i would've took my subwoofers out of the trunk. Just ran it as if i were on the street...
5-20-2009 Starting to take the front k-member out to put in the upr tubular k-member kit. I'll add more pictures later.
This might not be the correct way to support an engine but it worked...Notice that theres no power steering pump....
Had to end up moving the fuel lines to the side so i could tighten the bolts.
Had to use some of the orginial bolts so i could put the lower control arms on.
5/27/2009 Noticed that there was coolant on the floor...did a pressure test and found out that my timing chain cover was leaking so guess i have to replace the gaskets.....replaced all the gaskets including the oil pan gasket. Also painted some of the brackets and timing chain cover.
6/12/2009.. Got a steeda sway bar ( forgot to take a picture of it but you can see parts of it in the pics below )..........Also got the suspension back under the car....
I ended up having to put 1/2" thick spacers between the k member and frame. Without them the engine sat up to high, which caused the fan blades to hit the shroud and the strut tower brace to hit the top of the distributor.
6/20/2009.....Took my car out to take some pics.....
6/20/2009....Also took and weighed my car.......
Also uploaded a video.... http://video.cardomain.com/VideoPlayer.aspx?id=690426

Thanks. It's just a 302 bored .40 over with speedpro hyper pistons. I should have gone with a 347 stroker, that would have been nice. But all along I was planning on puting a single turbo on it so the extra cubes werent necesary. With ported e7s,ecam,and trickflow intake that's on it now it should easily reach my 450whp goal(500 max) with a 70mm turbo. I like your fox, it's really clean. Do the Cobra brake conversion, it really makes a difference.
