In 1967 Shelby American built 7 notchback mustangs for the SCCA Trans Am Series.The Terlingua Racing Team was named after a Town in Texas were Carroll Shelby owned a chicken ranch.Of the original seven cars three are left,No this is not a original. I built the car from 1991-1998.First race was Vegas at the Grand Opening of the Shelby American faclity at the Speedway.

Nice ride, I have one like it myself. Shelby actually built 25 cars in 1967 and about half are still in existence today. Here is a link to a page that has a lot of the individual cars history.

Hi Mike, I haven't visited my car domain page in ages, it's hopelessly out of date lol. I saw your comment when I logged on today, thank you for posting. Your car is an inspiration to me, very tastefully done. I have made many changes to how my car will go together since I posted on Car Domain. It will now be more of a purpose built race car and less of a street machine. I plan on building an 8V 351 with splayed bolt mains. I have gone through many attempts to upgrade my employment situation to afford such an expensive hobby, from being self employed with my Mustang shop, to a heavy equipment mechanic, to semi end dump truck driver and I am now working on getting a plant operations job at a hospital. If that works out, my car will get the dust and cobwebs blown off of it and I'll start updating in here.
