Hi my name is Bill and i am 19. Ever since I was young my dad was into GM vehicles.  He had a 74 Nova that we restored and he still has a 78 Cutless Supreme that runs 12s all day.  Now he also has a 76 Cutless, all stock.  For some reason the camaro always cought my eye.  So when i was 15 and about time to get a car for me to drive we found a camaro in the paper for 2500 so we looked at it and it was a done deal.  It is a 1989 camaro RS with T-tops, a 305 V8 TBI and a 700R4 automatic tranny. I get about 22 MPG. which is a good thing because i drive 30min to school everyday.  I want to change the engine to an LS1 from a 4th gen camaro. It has 145,000 miles on it currently, and rated 170 HP.  At school i put it on the dyno and it ran 130 HP and 220 Tq.  It has Red interier with black seat covers.  I am going to school now at Wyotech so i dont really have the money to start making the car really nice and the way i want it to look  but when i get a job and start saving money i have many plans (pg4)

yea i think it's a good idea to swap in a ls1.. I have a lt1 in mine and it's fast as hell.. I used to have a 98 trans am ls1 and it's pretty close. just take one thing at a time and you'll get it all done how you want it.. just be patient and don't half ass it. good luck! 5 stars
