Bed and Under Hood LED lights write up
Concept from CT member CBRBob and special thanks to TN moderator PB for help with the wiring, since i'm a noob.
I wanted to point out that these lights in the bed and under the hood are functional mods. I DO NOT drive with them on, and I only use them when they are required. Hence the switches.
These LED strips are from eBay. They're very durable, and not to mention, WATERPROOF.
They are underneathe the bed rails, 2 per side, with 3M heavy duty double sided tape.
I painted the wires black so that it would be a little more discreet.
I mounted them under the bed rails and the wires run down the wheel well behind the bed pockets.
Then used a dremel tool to trim a little hole out of the bed pockets to fit the wires down there.
i grounded them on the frame, then ran the power to rocker switch (bottom right switch), then to an inline fuse, just before hitting the battery
All wires are run under the truck using zip ties. The wires running in and out of the cab are going through one of the rubber grommets underneathe the driver side carpet. I just sliced a hole big enough for the wire to go through.

Under hood lights
These are the same lights that I used for my beg lights, the LED strips. Since I bought a 6 pack, I put the remaining 2 under the hood. They're also stuck on with 3M heavy duty double sided tape. But to make sure, I zip tied it also.
The wires for the left LED strip are zip tied along with the windshield wiper liquid wire that’s already there. I used the same brackets to hold the LED wires. Then the wires are ran under the skeleton of the hood. Note that these LED wires were also spray painted black.
Then the left LEDs are finally attached to the right LED strip here, outside of this little hole.
I put in a 10 amp inline fuse, and wired it inside the fuse box (near fog light mod) because it's covered. Then, I wired it back out of the fuse box and to the battery.
I ran the ground side to the push button, which is near the driver’s side headlight. This button is not one of those push pin switches. When I push it, the lights turn on, push it again, the lights turn off. Opening and closing the hood does not do anything to the lights, it doesn't even touch this switch at all. The reason for this is I didn't want the lights coming on during the day time, or any other time the hood opens. I suppose I could've put in a 3 way rocker (kind of like most dome lights) before the pin switch, but I wanted to do this as simple as possible.
