This is my winter daily driver. That threw a rod back in october. So the job of carting my a$$ around as been left up to the turbo Satty. It had 301k miles on it. So im doing an engine rebuild as of FEB. 07. Heres the list of mods planned.

I make custom parts, like turbo manifolds. Contact me @ williamjallen2003@msn.com!!

Rather Boring Exterior Also A shot at the odometer

Engine 4.3L Vortec

1)Pistons are TRW Forged Pistons 11:1, or 12:1 compression
2)Shot peened, polished and customized stock rods
3)Federal Mogul Rod and Main Bearings.
4)Ported And Polished heads, with 3 angle Valves
5)Polished Intake Manifold
6)Ported and polished Throttle Body.
7)Non roller cam with Roller Rockers
8)3in Cold air Intake

Electronics

1)Flashed and reprogrammed PCM
2)AFR Gauge
3)Aftermaret Tach.
The pcm will probably have the following:

1)Fuel cut moved up/ Redline moved higher
2)shift firmness, and shift points moved back
3) also a different fuel map to accomidate the mods

Heres the 2 styles of Pistons i am considering using. I'm probably gonna run the 12:1 pistons, if feel that i can tune it not to detonate! This truck never tows anything, however never saw never :)

I made a mistake the higher domed pistons are for a Chevy 302, and yes chevy made a 302. The lower domed pistons are for a 327 chevy, nither will work because the compression hight is to high. But any way there .060 over, and will be about 12.1:1 compression on my 64cc heads.
