algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup
algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickupas you can see here half of my grille is missing. driving through the snowman seemed like a good idea at the time. luckily the radiator is ok and theres no major damage.
algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickupi got rear ended by a damn ford and he took out my tail light and dented the bottom left of my bumper then he took off. also look close at the back of the left bedside. i was out havin some fun in the snow and i did a stupid and drifted into a church. my friend found it quite funny.

i bought this truck in january of '07 for 1,000 bucks (my first car!! :D) its a great truck, when i got it, it barely ran and the catalytic converter had been cut off so the system ended at the headers (it sounded pretty nice, haha). so far i have made it run great with a weber carb and an exhaustsystem with a 26" cherry bomb. it had 2 very small speakers (one of which didn't work) so it sounded pretty bad, it had some piece of junk 30 watt jensen head unit. i put in 2 MTX road thunder 2's , MTX tweeters, and Aiwa mid-ranges powered by a Sony XPLoD head unit. wired up everything myself! i got some pro comp rims in early march, they look great. my aunt gave me a nice, comfortable, auto tranny saab with A/C and heated seats... so i sold it for money into my truck and a YZF250!! YAAAY!

here is a sweet video! (MY BRAKES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ANYWAYS)
BURNOUT!!!

here is another sweet video of an engine that doesn't want to stop.
22r-e!!

mods:
-weber carb.
-cherry bomb glasspack
-rock crawler series 97 flat black rims
-rattle can paint job
-sony XPLoD stereo
-2 8" MTX road thunder 2's
-2 MTX tweeters
-aiwa mid-ranges
-some wet-fart (wal mart) lights (only until i get some kc daylighters) might as well tape a couple of seven eleven flashlights to the roof

mods to come:
-A/C
-new 22r (when this one takes a crap)
-6" or 8" lift
-36" or 38" mickey thompsons!
-SAS
-maybe an exo cage
-rock sliders
-rear lockers
-rear shotgun tube bumper
-a nice front bumpr that mounts a somewhat hidden winch, supports a skid plate and has 2 kc daylighters (might have to build that myself)
-fender flares
-flat black roll bar in the bed with 4 dayligters on top
-a decent shell (for snowy time)
-change gearing (to make up for bigger tires)
-yamaha yzf 250 in the bed
-maybe a small amp for the MTX's
-Warn or Superwinch winch
-Alpha liners spray in bed liner in the bed and some around the body just above where the sliders would go

-

UPDATE 10/14/07- well i went wheelin yesterday and i almost rolled and got some dumbass damage. Dumb·ass Dam·age-Noun- Trail damage that occurs because one or more of the vehicle occupants were being dumbasses. here are some pics, lets just say that dirt ledge didn't like my tail light.

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickupalgranger's 1986 Toyota Pickupi also lost a shock but it didnt have gas in it anyways and that doesnt work too well with a gas shock. my shock mount is fine it didnt break, the bolt just came out somehow.

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup here is the AC system i'm gonna install for about $150. thats better than a system that cost $1200 plus install. it got up to 106 yesterday (i know it's 120 in other areas but 106 is still way hot to be drivin around with no AC!) it's made for a small RV with out a duct system, it just blows air through a hole in the ceiling, so i figured i could just put that in my bed or somewhere outside and run some dryer hose up to where all of my vents join together in that main duct, then i could just wire up a switch and i'll be cooler than a deep freezer in an igloo!!

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup i got bored and tried to draw an exo cage but its ugly :(

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup there is my truck on the lot when i first went to look at it (it died a lot on the test drive but i knew the potential it has)

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickupwith the inside bed panels off. they each had about 8" tall of dirt, pine needles, leaves and more behind them!

well i went to turn on my computer this morning and i heard a really loud pop and it wouldn't turn on! i took the side panel off and this fell outalgranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup
it was the power switch, so i taped it to the front and it's good as new! :)algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickupjust push the middle thing on the black watchamacallit to turn the beast on and ur up and goin in no time!!

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup2 stock ones

algranger's 1986 Toyota PickupPro Comps!

algranger's 1986 Toyota PickupTHIS IS BAD!!!! THAT WAS A PERFECTLY GOOD YOTA WHEN IT WAS STOCK!!!! IT COULD HAUL STUFF, GO OFF ROAD, IT LOOKED GOOD, IT COULD GO OVER A SPEED BUMP, YOU COULD THROW HEAVY STUFF IN THE BED, TAKE IT DIRT BIKING AND GET IT ALL MUDDY AND NOT WORRY BOUT IT! NOW, WITH THE FANCY PAINT AND RIMS AND ALL THE CANDYASS STUFF THE ONLY PURPOSE IT SERVES IS SO PEOPLE CAN LOOK AT IT AND THINK YOUR COOL OR SOMETHIN, THERE IS NOTING FUN YOU CAN DO IN THIS AND I THAT GUY CAN'T EVEN DRIVE IT TO WORK!!!

algranger's 1986 Toyota PickupTHIS IS GREAT!!!! IT CAN STILL HAVE A TON OF CRAP THROWN IN IT, AND HAUL IT AROUND, IT LOOKS GOOD, IT CAN GO OVER A SPEED BUMP, GO WHEELIN (BETTER THAN STOCK) YOU CAN GET IT MUDDY AND BE HAPPY BOUT IT, THROW A DIRTY DIRT BIKE IN IT, TAKE IT OUT AND HAVE A GREAT TIME AND THEN DRIVE IT TO WORK THE NEXT DAY!

algranger's 1986 Toyota Pickup'07 Kona Shred-pretty much stock accept for the shitty shimano derailer i got to get me by, and the FSA chainring gaurd that is the best investment a rider like me could ever make!!(the chainring on my old bike looked like a 5 year old tried to fab. it.) this bike is great!!! great for jumping mainly but it kicks ass at trials and you can still XC it!

thanks for the comment and they sound pretty good with a dynomax but if you run a tail pipe it makes it way to quiet i would say just spend the extra money and get a flowmaster or borla the dynomax has a low tone... i like the idea of a spraying something on the door panels now the hard part is finding what to spray... thanks again
