I recently got this 1996 Oldsmobile LSS Supercharged for my 16th birthday. My grandmother wanted to get rid of it and just drive one car. She surprised me with it on my birthday. I was extremely excited to go from having a 4 cylender Plymouth Neon, to having this beautiful luxury sedan with a 240 HP supercharged V6. It is one of the few LSS supercharged without badging that says it is supercharged, which is kind of funny when a civic pulls up and thinks he's racing a regular V6. And then he freaks when all he can see is your rear bumper.
The most exciting thing about this car would have to be the 3800 V6 Supercharged. At first look this car doesn't look very quick. All though it is a heavy car, This engine can get it to 60 in a little over 6 seconds. It is pretty exilerating, believe me I've done it.
Here's a few pictures of the exterior, There's a couple of nicks and dings, but what used car doesn't have those.
The leather seats are the most comfortable that I have ever sat in in any car. And the car absorbes bumps nicely. Here's a shot of the interior.
When my grandparents got it it had the upgraded 5 spoke sixteen inch wheels. They really set the car apart from a regular LSS.
Here's my old car which is for sale, Iv'e done a few things to it. It has 17 inch 5-Zigen imperio rims in white, a short ram air intake system jvc c.d. player and sony exploid speakers, It also has a Naxous exhaust system ordered from Japan, also it has Altezza lights in the rear. This car was a great performer at stop lights but nothing compared to the Olds.
