This is my old Daily Driver, 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. It is a 40th aniversery eddition. I am not relly sure what the differece is between a normal GTP and this one other that a few badges, maybe nothing??
Here are a few pictures from when I first bought it
Here are a few interior shots, for being purple it doesn't look that bad
Here are a few of the engine bay
Everything is all stock so far
Here are some new ones, its fianlly nice enough here for me to get some decent pictures
I finnaly got around to installing my K&N intake, not sure if it added much performance, but man does it sound awsome...you can really hear the supercharger whine, and it looks great
Pictures to follow...............
Here are a few pictures of the k&n cold air intake
The track finally opened here so I got a chance to run my GTP (mustang is not back together yet), the best I managed was 15.731@ 89.93, not that great but when you do the elevation adjustment (raced it in Calgary Alberta, elevation roughly 1100 meters), it translates to a high 14, not too bad for my family sedan
Well I raced it a few more times over the summer, couldn't get any lower than 15.7 in it....my 2.3 60' times weren't helping much but what can you do
Well I needed a work vehicle and the GTP didn't make the cut so I had to sell it
Great car overall, I would definatly buy another one.....hopefully some day
