Here a car for the Independent Study Class.
I got that car since 1991. When I bought it, I started to strip the body because I wanted it to have the 73 RS look. 1.5 years later the car was back on the road again wearing the RS look but everything else on the car was stock. Over all the following years the car got some type of upgrade during the off season ( winter ). The car is primarily used for Autocross and Track Event ( DE and Time Trial ) and occasional street driving.
Tim from GRM might remember my car, it was at an Autocross, The Belle Chere Autocross in Asheville, NC. a few years ago. They where there with the Rotary Spitfire.

Here the current car spec.
Base car 1973 911T with S option ( S Brake, Trim and Gauge ).
Engine: is an 88 3.2L with Motronic injection. The engine is stock except for a K&N cone air filter replacing the air box and a set of headers with a custom muffler. Still running the stock chip.
Transmission: is from an 84 or 85 911 with an 8:31 final drive. With the original transmission with the 7:31 I was reaching the rev limiter in 5th on some race track.
Suspension:
Front: 22mm torsion bar, 22mm Sway bar, Koni double adj. shock, polybronze bushing, turbo tie rod, Alu. cross member.
Rear: 28mm torsion bar, 19mm Sway bar, Koni double adj. shock, adjustable spring plate, polybronze bushing, Alu trailing arm.
Brake: The original S brake with high performance pad.
Interior: Everything not deem necessary as been remove or replace with light weight component. Plastic window. Custom roll bar with door brace. Sparco racing seat and harness.
Car weighted 2150lbs last year on Roebling Road scale. I'm looking for a little less this year as I'm doing more lightening this winter.
At Porsche Club event it usually passes for a sleeper. I got guys coming to me asking what is in there because they are surprised at how fast it is. Ok its fast but still not enough when compare to twin turbo with zillion of HP. Anyhow the car is quick and fun to drive and I like to work on it.
The following link is a 2 laps video of VIR North.

Here some pictures of the car over the year.

GRM if you are listening, You really need to pick this car & driver. It is the complete package, the car looks like it just finished LeMans and Patrice sounds like he was the announcer. You can hear his French accent in his write up. He is also a heck of a driver.
