From stock...To stylin

This is my 1989 GMC Sierra Stepside 4x4 (350) I bought back in 2005. It's in great shape, has no problem turnin the tires over, and only has 70k. The truck is used at Thompson Internation Speedway in Thompson, CT. It's a pushtruck, push's broken or dead racecars off the track. check out the track:thompsonspeedway.com

When I first got the truck, pushbumper built. the pushbumper
hooks directly into the Fisher Minute-Mount side plates with
4 1/2" bolts. the wood is 2" oak.
Truck now has a Whelen 52" edge 8 strobe lightbar, and rubber on pushbumper. The lightbar made the truck look totaly different, it looks naked without it. The rubber on the pushbumper is 3/4" conveyor belt from a scrap yard. I think that rubber makes the truck look totaly badass.
New hood, Goodmark 2" cowl, custom painted with metal flake in the scoop.
House of Kolor rainbow flake (I think)
truck still looked sharp with all the old stuff on it
All polised up
New lenses on lightbar, made it look brand new.

New grille, ALL chrome, looks GREAT. It came from LMC truck and I recomend it for anyone with the older style GMC's.
ALL STEPSIDE OWNERS READ THIS!
New LED tail lights, made my own. This worked out well. I bought the tail lights from LMC for like $24 a piece, cut the back side out and put the 6 and a half inch oval truck body lights in. *TO EVERYONE WITH A STEPSIDE TRUCK* the tail lights for a stepside truck are different than those for a fleetside. The lenses are the same but the housings are different. A GM dealer will sell you a tail light assembly for a c/k truck for $60, but the stepside tail lights are $100. Keep that in mind when ordering after market tail lights because most aftermarket housings will not fit the stepside, and if the do, they won't fit good
Changed pushbumper a little, looks better.
At a local dirt track
New EURO park lights.
These park lights are TYC, and they came from Stylin Concepts. They fit like a dream. For those of you who don't know, that bulb is a hide away strobe tube.
SS-350 emblems, looked forever to find these things!
new tool box, the ol' tuppa-ware box wasn't cuttin it. I love this thing, it is a Dee-Zee competitor box that came from AW Direct for about $320.
