Here are the details of my turbo setup. The manifold idea is from jeffescortlx who was one of the first nuts to turbo an Escort..

Here is my modified 2G DSM exhaust manifold (needs to be mounted upside down on the Escort) and bracket I fabbed for the lower mounting holes:

The ports on the manifold line up very nicely and you just need to redrill the upper holes and make a bracket for the bottom and grind away some of the meat to make room for the lower bolts. Here it is mounted on my spare engine:

The turbo also needs to be clocked since it's now mounted upside down so that the oil drain is on the bottom. There are 4 bolts on the T25 that need to be loosened to do this (may take some wiggling to break it loose). You will also have to relocate the wastegate to the radiator side of the turbo. I just drilled and tapped new holes in the compressor housing (M6 I believe):

Oil is fed to the turbo through 1/4" brake line (40" length) that is pinched at the turbo inlet to restrict the pressure to <50psi (jeffescortlx trick) to keep the turbo seals happy:

The line is attached to the block using a 2.3 turbo Ford feed block (also allows the stock pressure sender to be used):

Oil drain is 5/8" (-10AN) Aeroquip push on hose with a 45 degree fitting at the oil pan (tapped for a 1/2 NPT fitting) and a straight at the turbo. I'm using a ProjectZUM T25 drain flange with a 3/8 NPT to -10AN adapter:

Intake piping is mostly spare parts from my '89 Turbo Supra (using a Supra BOV as well):

Fuel is currently handled by a 10:1 Vortech FMU, which is good cheap fuel management for low boost. I'm also using 25lb Flex Fuel Explorer injectors and an AFPR to lower the base fuel pressure:

Finally, the exhaust... This was the toughest part of the swap, there's not much space for the downpipe and I had to put a couple bends in the A/C line to make it fit, plus I suck at welding :) I started with a T25 flange and 2.5" U bend from Road Race Engineering (highly recommend these guys!):

I then tied it into the 3" Honda Civic exhaust I picked up ($40 Craigslist find). I was surprised at how well the Civic exhaust fit, I only had to remove the section above the first bend and about 6" after the flex pipe and weld some new hangers on:

Hey Nice Ride! I noticed that you have a wideband o2 setup in your car. I'm with PLX Devices and we're looking for nice cars to sponsor with our new gauges. We have some new 52mm and 60mm programmable gauges. Check them out on our website (www.plxdevices.com) if you're not familiar with our new offerings. If you're interested please email me at paul@plxdevices.com

Thanks for all the comments, I'll try my best to answer the questions. dj-clear corners are off ebay, they were cheaper than new stock ones so I picked 'em up flip-most of the gauges were leftovers from other projects. All gauges are universal so you should be able to wire anything in. wasthatawagon-stock is good (dents add to the sleeper effect) but I dig your wagon too :)
