It all started when I bought my Roadster in MArch 2006. I wasn't going to modify it.......!!!!

But then I didn't like being the same as everyone else, so I just changed the lights

Like most blokes with cars, it was never going to stop there.

First it was wheels and tyres:
Team Dynamics Monza-R (High power silver)
Toyo T1-S Proxes

Then suspension:
KYB AGX adjustable dampers and Flyin Miata Springs
I did the work myself of course

and the result

The latest mod is a hard dog deuce roll bar. Bolted to the chassis in 6 places, this gives proper roll protection, unlike stiles roll bars that will probably fold over in a crash. Again, fitted this myself

I had planned to fit a harness and bucket seat. Harness is Sabelt 4 point ECE approved harness so that I will pass MOT. Seat is a Cobra Imola-s with Diolen composite shell. Unfortunately the seat did not fit the way i liked. I no longer sat central to the steering wheel and it did not feel right. Quite disappointing, but at least my interior still matches. The bucket seat is being sold. Harness is still in place.

Other mods carried out:
Mintex 1144 front brake pads (full front brake overhall carried out at same time)
Momo race 300mm steering wheel

So far the engine has not been touched. This however is about to change. At beginning of march the car will be treated to a full FM2 turbo install. It will boost power from 116hp to 235 @ 12psi. This is how the engine looks at the moment

What this space.

Well, I just spend the day doing some serious solvant abuse. Gunk engine degreaser, celulose thinner and high temp spray paint.

The result, a nice clean cam cover. Makes the engine look almost new again!
