1997 Dodge B3500:
My full-sizeand then some van. Now I know everybody likes trucks and SUVs when it comes to hauling stuff around, but big old American vans like this deserve some love. They hold things like dirt bikes and karts
securely so you can duck into 7-11s or fast food restrooms w/o worrying about something going missing while your gone. Plus, this bad-boy can tow nearly four tons! Here are the specs.
Color: Moonshine Dignity (otherwise known as white)
Engine: 5.2-liter V-8. That's 318 cubic inches in American speak.
Power: 225 bhp and 295 lb.-ft of torque.
Fuel Economy: 14 mpg city/18 mpg highway which means with the the 35 gallon fuel tank, that means about 490 city
miles and 630 highway miles!
Modifications:
* The mother of all tow hitches
* Third-row seating removed, which means more room for motorcycles, go-karts or other cool crap.
2002 Aprilia SR50 Ditech Motorscooter:
My scoot is the perfect vehicle for running around town near our offices in Newport Beach. Parking can get pretty hard to find at times, but it’s a piece of cake with my little Aprilia!
Color: Yellow and Black
Engine: 49cc single-cylinder, direct fuel injection
Power: Unknown, but with modifications it now does an
honest 60-plus mph.
Fuel Economy: In stock form, about 120 mpg (believe it or
not) with mods, I’m down to
only 90 mpg.

My Job:
I’m the Senior Editor at Road & Track. My duties include overseeing all motorsports coverage, writing single car road tests, multi-car comparison tests, one-page car reviews and news items for both the magazine and our website, www.roadandtrack.com. Yes, I’ve got it pretty dang good. I’m one lucky son-of-a-gun and I know it.
