ok, heres my newest toy, rough right now, but i paid 500 for it, along with an assortment of bits and bobs, including 3 engines, teo transmissions, factory hard top, 9 wheels, 3 steering wheels, etc etc etc, been selling bits on ebay, and currently have sold parts in excess of what i paid for the car, so i have been buying parts now, got new floors for it, got the weber downdraft carb setup for it, found a decent set of seats, all new interior panels,, made a big hole in trunk trying to get gas tank out as it was so rusty, couldnt use grinder as sparks would have created big ass boom!!, so now i need new trunk floor too. My plans for this car are to turn it into a semi sebring look, getting rid of the bumpers, and blending the body to look like it never had them. more to follow!!!

ok, so i changed my mind a bit, i sold the weber and got the dual SU carbs, man what a difference! the body is coming along nicely, it finally running and moves by itself, i had to replace the master cylinder, all the brake lines, the clutch master and slave cylinders, the fuel tank, pretty much started from scratch everywhere, but i took it for a drive last weekend, just around the block as as you can tell by the pics, its hardly street legal rigth now, but it runs like a scalded dog! cant wait to be able to drive it legally and open it up and see what it will really do!

Nice layout on the color. Guess you went with basecoat / clearcoat. You paint it yourself?

Lookin' good. Like the work so far. Looking forward to the progress. I gotta a 65 and 66 myself. My 66 (not posted yet), will get the v6 implant I think. The 65 pull handle(posted)is a bone stock lady though.
Cheers!
