2000 Land Rover Discovery II. I just sold this vehicle in April 2007. I bought the Disco to replace the D90, which was too small for camping with my family and dogs. This is how it started. It came with the ACE and self leveling suspension, heated seats, dual sunroofs, all leather/power stuff, and rear jump seats.
I customized it a lot in an effort to make it as capable as the D90. Range-Rov solenoid center diff lock, Rovertym winch bumper, Warn 9.5Ti winch, Greg Davis rear bumper, Rovertym springs and rear coil conversion for 4.5" lift, Fox Emulsion shocks, extended brake lines, Tom Woods DC front driveshaft, Rovertym rock sliders, 285/75 Goodyear MTR tires (in pic) on satin black powdercoated Land Rover 16" alloys (ditched the 18's), 6 IPF 900 lights, Land Rover Adventure rack and ladder, IPF back-up/work light, Optima red top battery, Cobra CB, and Hannibal awning and tent.
Here's a close up of the Greg Davis rear bumper. It has a 2" receiver that replaces the stock unit. The quarter panels have to be trimmed by about 5", but the rear clearance is significantly improved.
The Hannibal tent and awning in action.
4.5" lift vs. 2" lift
I still have this one, but I'll likely sell it soon now that I have the "new" Defender 110.
