  • Brake Systems Teraflex Big-Brake Kit

    Aug. 1, 2011

The kit is a good deal for this car the Kit plus Hoses and Shipping & Handling came to $452.75 the fee to cross the boarder and shipping in Canada was $106.02 for a total cost $558.77. The price to redo the old drum brakes was going to be $415.23 plus shipping and boarder fee if ordered from the USA or $680.00 from the local shop. The kit is a direct bolt on except the axel bearings have to come off to put a shim ring in, to account for the extra thickness of the calipper mount vs backing plate. The other difference is the configuation of the control arm mounts meant that I had to put the Left calipper mount on the Right side and the Right one on the Left side see the pictures in rest of the site.
