Now came the fun part. I started fabricating the trim panels for the trunk. Every panel is curved, there are no flat surfaces on any of the trim panels. I had a concept in my head, and I modified it as I went.

The panels are starting to take shape.

One of the things I set as a goal for this system was maintaining full functionality of the vehicle. I managed to cram 2 13" subs, 4 amplifiers, and a full size spare into this trunk with a sizeable trunk space available. I knew with the 22's that a donut wasn't going to cut it if I got a flat, so I made it a point to make sure I had access to a full size spare tire if needed.
Here are some more shots of the trim panels as they progressed.

Nice wheels mate, what offset are they front and back? How much do those rims in the US go for? I know in Australia they cost a arm and a leg

The 22's on my car were custom made for me by Asanti. I had them make them 7" wide, to clear the spring perches in the rear without having them stick out and give it the "donk" look. You could probably get away with a 7.5" but they'd have to stick out a little more and might rub a bit in the front.
