The tweeters were mounted in the a-pillars with metal backstrap. The a-pillars themselves were modified to allow the sound of the tweeters to penetrate the panels and still keep a stock appearance. Plastic grill metal was molded into the stock panel to keep the stock shape but allow sound to pass through. The panels were then wrapped in matching grill cloth.

After I had my front stage figure out, I turned my attention towards the trunk. I wanted to create a nice flowing trunk with no straight lines. I started with the sub baffle. I say baffle because the subs are mounted in an infinite baffle arrangement, to achieve optimum low end extention and sound quality. Here's some pics of the baffle getting started.

Fleece was stretched to get the nice curves I was looking for.

After some duraglass loving.

After the sub baffle was fabricated, I worked on the mounting for the amplifiers. I created a modular design, 2 amps on each side which could be easily serviced and adjusted. Here's what i came up with.

Mounted in the car.
