The X-15 Project
The X-15 was an experimental rocket powered aircraft in 1960's, know for setting winged speed records. It seemed to be a great name to use for an Oldsmobile project car. My goal is to attain a performance level similar to todays sport sedans. Power will come from a fuel injection and turbocharger system designed around the factory 330ci V8. Transmission, suspension, braking, wheels and tires will all be updated to more modern designs. The interior will remain fairly classic with the exception of a modest audio system.
