This is my 1970 Chevelle Malibu. The guy I bought it from had started to make it a SS clone. I've had it since September 2001. It had no drivetrain when I got it. Now it has a mild 350 backed up by a very strong TH350 trans. The wheels are 78-82 Corvette wheels. These pictures are from September 07.
About two weeks after those pictures this happened.
Long story short, a guy pulled out in front of me at an intersection. It definitely sucked but now I have a check from the insurance and the chance to build it the way I always wanted.
November 07. Pulled off all of the wrecked front clip and found this.
The frame is bent pretty bad from right behind the cross member up.
April 08. So I found one from a 71 GTO in upstate NY. Went up, bought it, and trailered it back. Now I'm stipping off some parts in preperation to sand it and repaint it.
