I acquired this car from a junkyard for $400.00 in Delaware, USA, and since it was in drivable condition, my dad drove it back to Ohio. It has around 200,000 miles on it and still runs great on the original drivetrain! I drive it to work in the summer and to college daily.
Nearly everyone in my family has a Scorpio. That means there are 7 nearby, similar to mine, but with different paint schemes, wheels, transmissions, etc. My dad's policy is that if a person is into older cars, they should have at least two cars, so that they can have a back up when one is down for repairs or upgrades. Check out my Fox-body Capri page (400+ hp!)
Aside from cosmetic upgrades, I have replaced every suspension bushing on the car, installed a dual exhaust from the cat back, installed a heavy-thumping mp3 audio system, upgraded shocks and struts, and new Pirelli tires, which I think ride a bit rough (any suggestions for 15" tires? I have too much time invested in these 15" rims to think about changing to a larger diameter).
If you like this bad boy, let me know.
If you are in or near the Dayton, OH area and need some help with your Scorpio, my dad or I may be able to help.

The exhaust tips fit nicely beneath the fiberglass bumper extension

I prefer the older style seats with adjustable knee support and tight upholstery

A friend modified these wheels from a Mitsubishi Diamante

I'm looking for clarity of image in my paint. I didn't do too bad on this one!
