My 1981 AMC Eagle SX4 Sport
i Purchased in 2002 from a nice guy in Kentucky. After Years Of looking for one in decent shape and full of options :)
the car needed alot of cosmetic tlc when i got it.

The Car was in great shape with no rust or rot whatsoever
Except for the god awful faded brown throw up color interior

I Stripped the ugly interior of my sx4 My rotted out 83 wagon with a black interior supplied me with the dash and front interior trim

i purchased a 82 sx4 from a guy in jersey for 500 (hes on this site Here ) and used all the interior trim from it to complete the interior ( the car drove great! by the way jersey dude :) )

A little compound and black touch up

This is a rare Fully loaded, with every option, Eagle SX4.
Power windows and locks,
sport package with all gauges, red strips in body side moldings
spoiler, rear wiper, rear defog, automatic tranny, tilt wheel, fog lights, am fm cb (removed)split fold rear seat back, alloy wheels and A/C

updated stereo with a pioneer am fm xm cd and infinity sub

the car loved to stall on left turns all the time every time! i got sick of tinkering with the carb all the time So I updated the engine with a 92 jeep mopar fuel injection kit in 03.
took a day or 2 all the parts bolted right in gotta love AMC all the cars shared everything :)

this was my 83 Eagle wagon sport. Shame it looks so good!
it was totally rotted under from front to rear
so it also supplied my SX4 with a select drive trans(after Rebuild)as well as other parts that were salvageable.

This is my first car back in 88 Sold it in 94 :(
An 83 Eagle sx4 5 speed with 3 inch lift, 31 inch bfg tires, and low rage Jeep Cj transfer case.
the lift was custom made lowing the front diff 3 inches with brackets and blocks in the rear.
