Charlie got a tip about this old car. We've got the fenders, windshield, bumper, but we'll probably need a new top for it. Needs lots of work: a paintjob will do wonders! and a transmission of course! It's an extended project; baby steps. Started really thinking about it in January 2007. Here's our idea....take this rusty ol' forgotten '64 austin-healey out in Gram's backyard.....

an SR20DET blacktop baby...think we're crazy? maybe a little, but like I said, BABY STEPS.

I have to go traveling to get out of debt....so i stored my austin-healey in my parents barn in summer 07.....primer to delay the rust....stripped the wires, sanded it a bit...... i have not given up!!!!!!!!

Nice Healey. They love time, so you just have to let it have it even though we don't want to some times. I've been working on mine for over four years all through college now. It'll all be worth it in the end. Well...That's what I'm hoping for. Haha. Good luck. Jason

You've got the foundation, but how complete is the car? I'm too chicken to fabricate a whole new suspension. Maybe there's a donor parts car around???
