This is a 1991 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible. It broke down on the drive home - from Lancaster! It turned out it had a bad ground on the alternator and the battery died because it wasn't charging. Anyways, Irina and I bought this car in March 06, put some sweat and money into it over the last year, but it still needs more work to be functional. So far: new tie rod end, steering rack boot, new alternator, new passenger side driveshaft, new washer fluid container, fixed power driver seat, put a new headlight on the passenger side, and changed the oil. The car is now collecting dust (and snow) under a cover in the garage until I have enough time to replace the power steering rack. Then it will need an alignment. Throw in a new fender on the passenger side, and some paint on the fender and the hood, and it should be good to go! The turbo works great, and it only has about 68k miles on it. Although I will need to fix the speedometer, as the odometer has stopped working (common issue with these cars).
