Here is my 1979 Trans Am. All original except for the motor and trans. New freshly rebuilt 455 pontiac motor bored to a 462 with a turbo 400 tranny. The motor in only pushing about 375 horses but the torque is unreal. Torque is up into the 500+ range. Got to love the 455 it's a torque monster. Right now it's getting new gears put in it. Taking out the factory gears and putting in a set of 3.73's. Other than that not alot to tell right now. Will be taking it to the track on the 24th of Feb for a test and tune session. Want to see what it will run with the new gears and new MT et drag radial i have for it. Ran it at the 1/8 mile track on street tires last year. Ran a 8.65, not that great but descent considering I was smoking the 295 60 tires on the back, and that's with the factory gears. I'm guessing it should run low 8's to high 7's in the 1/8 mile. Will let everyone know after the 24th.

Also have a hood scoop for it so that it can breath better at a high rpm. But I'm trying to find a plain Firebird hood to mount it to. Cause no way in hell I'm destroying my shaker hood to put it on. LOL

Don't have any pictures of the motor but will be taking some soon. I will post some pic of it at the track the 24th. So check back about the 25th or so to see some picture of it in action.
Also figured I'd through a picture of my other toy in as well.
It's not much, just a little 883, but has a load of mods on it. Some engine mods and alot of chrome upgrades.
1. Hypercharger air cleaner
2. Screamn' Eagle Racing cams
3. Vance & Hines straight pipes
4. Screamn' Eagle ignition and plug wires
5. Screamn' Eagle jet kit for carb.
That's about all of the engine upgrades, but I've added alot of new chrome to it. To many to list. Soon to come is a bore increase to make it a 1200 and new complete high compression heads. Should end up pushing around 95 hp. Dosen't sound like much, but on a 350 lbs. or so bike it's not to bad. Well change of plans. The bike is now up for sale. So if anyone is interested drop me a line.
