Car is first one I owned. I got it for high school graduation way back in 1984. Dad purchased in California before we moved. Drove it for 12 years (288,000 miles) before I finally had to park it. Engine ran great, but everything else was held together with baling wire (great stuff!) and it leaked like a sieve. I started rebuilding in 1994, but had to stop (work, children, life, etc). I have been waiting for 13 years to rebuild her. I finally put her in my garage and the clock is ticking. I have to have her ready to move out of the garage by Dec 07. Wish me luck. I hope to post as I work on it.
This is car when I pulled it out of storage unit (Jan 07)

This is partially torn down. The doors are still on and the engine is still in. The interior is partially out.

This is where I sit as of May 12. Everything is out except the gas tank and some misc fuel and brake lines. Started on the body work.

This the the worst damage I had on the car. I backed into a pole when I was in college.

This is the dent on May 12, after my first attempts at body work (amazing what you can do with a 10lb sledgehammer). I have bought some body hammers and dollys. Easier than I thought.

We all find ourselves taking this wonderful game called Life too seriously at times. No matter what you or others experience in Life, recognize that we have all created experiences in our lives, that at one time or another, we considered tragic. All of this is your creation and you have created it, for a particular experience, remember to appreciate and experience every one of them. Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you. Great effort best ride dude. 5*
