This is a 1973 Satellite that we are turning into a Daisy Duke Roadrunner clone. As you can see, it came with a vinyl roof and chrome strips that we have already removed. There is some rust that needs repaired. It has a 318 with a 2 barrel and an auto tranny all of which works/runs/drives fine. Came with 14" wheels and ugly hubcaps that will be changed to 15" Magnum 500 rims. We have also changed the hood to a bulge hood to replicate the Roadrunner style.

hey girl!!! LOVE the car!!! I'm a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard, and i think that's why my first car was a 74 Satellite. I know hers was a 73, then they changed it to a 71-72, but my car looks close enough!!! :) it's nice to see another girl on here, not many Mopar girls on here from what i can tell. Can't wait to see her painted and burning up the pavement!!! Mopar girls RULE!!! :)

I love to see classic mopars in good to excellent condition and am always interested to how people modify them. However, I am somewhat of a purist. That is to say that I hate to see cars that have become so close to extinction that they are actually numbered as to the ones that are operable and original color scheme. The auto bronze w/ white vinyl top is (to my knowledge) the rareset of the satellites. However, I did manage to find a positive side, I noticed that you have the coupe and not the plus (which are harder to find). That being said, I hope your project turns out as well as you hope for.
