This is my stock 1998 Chevrolet S-10 4x4. The truck has the 4.3L Vortec with SFI. The transmission is a Jasper 4L60E. I have a stock Eaton Locker in the rear and I'm not quite sure what the gear ratios are as of now. This picture was taken in my driveway right before I cranked the tortion bars.
This is an after shot with the cranked tortion bars. The rear end was sagging because the shock shackles hadn't come in.
This was the truck with out any modifications. I still wheeled it though. I hope to duplicate this photo later on. The jeep behind me belongs to my friend Jason. He definitly influenced me to go wheelin'.
This is the truck after the tortion bars being cranked, rear shackles, and a body lift. I also bought some new Firestone Destination M/T 30x9.50 on Eagle Alloy 15 in. rims with 4 in. of backspacing. This was taken at the head of the trail at Rattle Snake Ferry. This was the first time the truck went out mudding.
This is a picture of the new tires. I bought them off of my friend and they fit really well with the body lift and the rest of the suspension lift. They really hook up compared to my old tires. They can sure sling mud too.
