Im 17 and this is my first car, i bought and paid for it myself. I worked hard for this car.
This is my '71 Nova, i bought it for $2000 with no motor or tranny, fro m a guy in Old Forge. Needed alot of work. New quarter panels, needed just about everything in the interior except the seats that were redone before i bought it. Needed an engine, tranny, rear end, and most of the chrome was missing. It was an origional 350 four barrel with a/c.
Me and my father completely restored her together, doing all the work ourselves including the paint and body work, it took about 3 months during the winter. my father did all the paint and bodywork. It is now completely redone with a 1969 327, bored 30 over, mild cam, speed pro pistons, roller rockers, weiand intake and a holley 4bbl., 2 spd powerglide, 10 bolt posi rear end, 2 inch cowl induction hood, flowmaster tailpipes wi th hooker headers and dual thrush mufflers for that classic sound. and centerline auto drag mag wheels. Feb 23 2008, just got a set of new dunlop gt qualifiers for my birthday.

new weiand stealth polished aluminum intake, and a holley 750cfm carb i just put on
custom guage pod that i fabricated out of sheetmetal to fit perfect in my origional ac vent hole, looks gooood. ive never seen another nova with guages in this spot, and i thought itd look good so i did it.
