This is my Jeep the day I bought it (the one on the left).
And this is my Jeep now, 8 years later
I bought it new in August of 2001. It came with 30" tires and a dana 44 rear axle with 3.73 gears.
Current Mods:
3" body lift + 1" motor mount lift
4" Pro Comp lift w/pro comp shocks
36x13.50 Irok's
15x10 black rock krawler rims
QuickLok locker front
Mini Spool in the rear
4.88 Gears
K&N air filter
Banks headers
KC fog lights
Pioneer Chrysler fit CD player
Had to ditch the boom... the sub box got wet and was ruined...
I just recently retired my Jeep from my daily driver to just a toy. So this list is continuing to grow.
I've arranged my site like a timeline, so to view most recent pics, please look at the last page!
This was taken after my first upgrade. I put 32x11.50 mud terrain tires on it.
This was with the same tires, but after adding the 3" body lift. I won a contest for most mud right here.
And I got a plaque to prove it!
This is when I finally got bigger tires. They were 33x12.50 Super Swamper Thornbirds. Man they did good in the mud and stuff, but they sucked on the road. Couldn't keep them balanced and the wore out very fast. And they were really loud, and I hadn't upgraded the stereo yet at the time, so I could barely hear my radio when the top was down. But they sure did make the Jeep look good.
After the Thornbirds wore out, I got some ProComp Mud Terrains. These were pretty good tires for street and off road use. This pic was taken at Shiloh Ridge , in Alto, TX.
