This is just the beginning. I am planning to restoring this 240 to stock condition. One cool thing I found in the car is the original window sticker from the auto sales dealership in Los Gatos California as well as the original 1970 Owners Manual.

********UPDATE******* Front clip welded back in place. Last owner had removed it and was going to dismantle the entire car and put it on the new body. I wanted to keep it stock so I cut the clip back off the new body and had it welded back where it came from. It was not structure. It is where the radiator sits and in front of the wheel wells all the way across. I am about to have it towed back to my garage and start working on the engine. CAN'T WAIT TO FIRE IT UP!!!!!!!

UPDATE. I have turned it over have most of the engine ready. Need to figure out wiring. I need to wire from firewall to dist and coil. having trouble mine was cut. Any help would be appreciated. btodd1@gmail.com. I have a diagram but it is hard to read.

I am glad that it has the original Mag wheels special ordered from the factory.

I am having trouble getting the hatch open. Rusty latch!!
I got it open! A bit of WD-40 goes a long way!!!!

The L24 engine is coming along. I have bought the distributor off of E-bay. I also aquired the original seats and an extra set of carbs to work with. I will need the alternator and air pump and of course the fan belts. I will need a radiator and all the hoses. That will just about do it to get the motor running. Anyone have a 1970 front bumber for cheap??????? :)
