I purchased this car from a local, retired Ford mechanic. He had found the car in a salvage yard in South Carolina in the mid 80's and brought the car back to life. It had been hit in the left rear quarter panel and had its engine and transmission stripped, as well as the other desireable options like the tilt-away steering column and AM/FM radio. He restored the car and it was driven little after that. The left rear quarter panel, rear valance and left trunk floor panel are the only pieces of sheetmetal that have been replaced on this car. With the car having a 20 year old restoration, it is starting to show some wear, but for the most part it is a very solid car.
She looks fast even when she is standing still

Mach 1's came with the deluxe interior which included the wood grain inserts. The Mach 1's also had a clock in the dash, just above the glove box on the passenger side.
