This is my 1971 Mitsubishi GTO Galant. Engine is a 1600cc Saturn with factory 5 speed box.

Pics taken at the inaugural Japanese Car show in 2006 buy I'm not sure who (but they are great pics!). I had to be somewhere else that day so I dropped the car and ran.

Pics taken at RACQ motorfest 2006 - we were asked to dress in the era of our car, I decided on early 70's mod.

I purchased it almost as you see it now, but have done alot of work on getting it looking 'right'.

I managed to find a set of sigma turbo rims and spent ages hand painting in the black trim after getting them polished. Tyres are some Continental Cont-Competition C1 Motorsport tyres. I also stripped out the interior and added new carpet and painted the dash and console black and re-woodgrained everything.

Also lowered the suspension, ended up using Datsun 1600 springs in the front and lowering blocks in the rear.

Also fitted a CD stereo system and replaced alot of trim outside the car with better parts that I already had in my stash.

*more pics of interior and exterior to come soon*
