This is my 1977 Olds Omega. I've owned it since I was 18. I put this 4-bolt main GM performance parts 350 H.O crate motor in with a GM LT4 HOT cam with Comp Cams 1.6 roller rockers - cam specs out to be 218/228 @.50 with a 525/525 lift on the intake and exhaust side. Eldelbrock RPM air-gap mainfold, GM vortec heads, Trick Flow hardened pushrods, Flowtech headers, Holley 650cfm true double pumper. I pretty much built the motor exactly like a Car Craft article I read. The were able to make 401hp and 426 IBS of torque. Bolted up to the motor is a TH350 with a shift kit, semi-built 10 bolt rear end with Motice racing 3.90s and Polar racing 28 spine axle shafts, and some body and suspension work. Runs 12.90s in the quarter mile. The car is an ongoing project, but it's very rewarding to build something rather then buy it. I really want to start working on the interior and making the car more confortible to drive. It may not be perfect but I love my car.
