1957 Chevy Bel Air
When my dad first bought this car it was in need of total restoration. He had to put the car together piece by piece. The car took about two and half years to restore from the ground up. The engine was pieces in a five gallon bucket. He ordered parts from the 55/56/57 Chevy Club in Florida in order to restore the car.
Below are some photos of the car when we first got it.
The car has rechromed bumpers. The interior upholstery was the only thing that was not re done by my dad. One of our family friends helped out on that. He did all the wiring, painting, body work and other modifications himself. Notice the front "bullets" specially made for the car by him on a lathe.
My dad put a lot of work in this car and I wanted to put pictures of it on here so that everyone could see what it looked like when we first got it and what it looks like now.
This is a picture of me when I was young with my dad's car!
