It may be ugly, but soon it will be quick. Its a '92 Shadow ES with the mitsu 6G72 3Lv6 with the A-543 5spd manual.

The 3.0 is basically stock except the 52mm TB-never knew it made that much of a difference in throttle response! and the APC Intimidator Cone filter.

my goal will be to run 10lbs of boost with a stock motor for now, ill rebuild it during winter and make 300 hp hopefully. After it blows up, forged internals! But it will be in a different car-this thing is rotted!

Interior- Not horrible but nothing works, no radio, power windows dont work and the tach is stuck.Plus theres a couple rips in the top.

Cleaned up the engine compartment, took the insulation off the hood.

Exhaust is a straight pipe all the way back.

Well, its not running again, something with the starter...dont know but hopefully get it all sorted out.

u say 10 lbs... maby 200 hp total. u know that the stealth 3.0 has the same engine and components in it. it produces over 350 hp with a twin turbo. this means that both the stealth and shadow engnie would indeed be able to handle over 24psi. right? did you ever get around to putting that turbo on? how is that 2.2?

Nice shadow - definitely have to do the rebuild/turbo upgrade...I would like to do that to my Acclaim someday. Go with a 16G for sure, it will be much better suited to this engine. Check out my car and rate sometime - thanks!

nice turbo, where did you get it? and how much did it cost? if your a 3.0 guy, and you want more from your engine with now turbo you must check this out. it will save you time and money, and gain you power from many small stupid upgrades. http://home.tampabay.rr.com/redroby/3liter/

Hi there! I just wanted to say I'm sure your Shadow is going to be great when you're done. Good luck with all you do, and it should be a really fun droptop. Take care. Brittney
