This is my Baby girl her names Bobby Sue!, My name is steve and i'm 20 years old and i'm a full time mechanic. I started restoring her 3 years ago, she's an original Brown 383 car, But i'm going to put in a MOPAR performance crate engine in and have her painted Black., she's come a long way since i first got her home, underneith was a mess the torsion mounts were completely rotted out,the floor pans under the front seats were missing, every one called it the flintstones car! the rear frame rails and spring mounts were pretty rusted not to mention the rear valance, trunk and many other parts of the car. for unknown reasons whether it be from an accident or previous rust cancers the original round exhaust tip like tailights were replaced with the rectangular tail lights off a 1969 charger, I got the car media blasted and really cleaned it up. the car has been in the Body shop for over a year and is almost completed more pics to be added soon of Bobby Sue and her new shinny Black Paint!

Finished the Grille!!!

Sorry its been a while but I've got an incredible story to share. Back on January 17 my roadtrip co-driver called me to advise that the band the Kings were playing a benifit concert near our house. (The did the song Switching to Glide if you remeber). Anyway this was one of the songs we re-discovered on our Challenger Roadtrip to Vegas above. We showed up a little late and got seated at a table for 10 with people we did not know. I had printed a picture of the Challenger to show my co-driver the louver I bought for the car and after he looked at it he dropped it on the table. At about 11:00pm after several beverages one of the girls sees the picture and asks if she can show her dad who is sitting next to me. He takes one look and asks if I know the movie Vanishing Point. I tell him the story of driving to the town where they filmed the movie and I ask if he remembers the scene at the end. Everyone at the table starts laughing because the gentleman is non other than Bob Segarini, the guy who wrote and performed the song in the original Vanishing Point when he hits the bulldozer. He also sent me a copy of the original demo tape to prove it! What are the odds on that one?
