Still working on replacing interior plastics that have fallen apart, or broke. I replaced the glove box, the top tray above the heater controls, the center cap for the steering wheel, roof liner rear speaker deck carpet, seat belt covers, and still have more to go. Since the Door pockets are missing, I am going to put interior lights and bigger speakers in the doors, and lights under the dash.
Previous owner put new carpet in, so thats one less thing I will have to replace. Alltogether though, Ive spent almost nothing on this car. I have also put the air filter box back in under the hood.
One peculiar thing about it though, are the spark plug wires. Oddly enough, the wires themselves had written on them, 2 different resistances. On the cap end, it says 1k ohm, and on the spark plug metal end, is says 5k ohm. I tested the ohms, and they all read between 5.2 and 5.9 ohm. I bought some standard wires for it just to experiment and see if they would work, and they guys at the parts store said they wouldnt because they would not fit into the stock style cap. Well, I bought them anyways, with new plugs, put them all on, and they fit into the original cap just fine. The new wires are about 8 ohm overall, and they work just fine, infact, it actually runs better now than it did when I bought it.
