This 1985 J-20 Pioneer was originally a New Brunswick, Canada vehicle. It moved to Halifax with the original owner's daughter, and was for sale as a parts truck. It was purchased for $1000, with all original tires, receipts, warranty card, etc etc etc.
Although extremely rusty on the outside, the interior was like new. (The picture looks like the day I bought it.)
It had not been running, and I was told the engine had problems. But wih only 85000km, I took a chance. The problems were... One bad battery, one bad alternator, and something nesting under the hood.
The body was completely restored, and this has been the most reliable vehicle in my Jeep fleet. The motor is the strongest stock 360 I've ever driven. With the low gearing of a J-20, it pins you in the seat when you hit the gas.
