10.08.08 I'm pleased yet sad to announce that I'm selling the mustang. The radiator and t-stat went bad; that's been fixed but I've had enough problems with Ford vehicles. IAC replacement, strange noises; it's time to move on. But it's going in good hands to another enthusiast. Maybe he will post it on his cardomain and you'll this again. I think he's got the plans and funds to do forged bottom end and T-5 gforce build and rear end build. So best of luck and thanks a bunch for anyone that viewed this page.

11.08.07 So the procharger went on. I'm very pleased with the results on a conservative tune for daily driving safety. The car made so much power that Jason @ Fastlane couldn't make a single run. The Spec Stage 3 clutch went in, broke it in a bit, and then got the thing tuned.

10.01.07 The ceramic LT headers are on; I gained 11rwhp and 20rwtq all at peak. Not bad for just headers. Coming soon (2 weeks), I'm going to get an ATI procharger intercooled unit @ 11psi and then drop a detroit trutrac. I will eventually update pictures, and videos for everyone.

09.08.07 Alot of the bucking went away after changing the battery. The starting problems if you only make a quick stop instead of the letting the engine rest caused ignition to take longer and strain. I put the Focus 310lph in there and it's fixed much of it too. Easily 2-3 seconds off the ignition to startup time. The ceramic LT's are going on soon and a retune is in order. stay tuned!

07.01.07 Reinstalled the intake manifold spacer, it turned out to be port-matched AND gasket matched as well. I can already feel it somewhat in the lower end helping me out. Will post dyno numbers later on and see how the 160 T-stat and the spacer helped again.

06.30.07 Found out that the T-stat was broken all this time even during the dyno run. This meant that my car was running much hotter than what it should've been. I installed a Ford 160 T-stat instead of a 180 t-stat because Houston is a hot place to live, then I had Nick @ Fastlane change my fan turn on time to be 180F instead of stock 200F. It's about 92F outside right now in radiant temperature with a humidity of about 65%. The car runs ice cold now and is noticeable on the water temperature dash. Trusty scan gauge shows me that driving around in the city I average about 180-185F in town driving and on the highway a crisp 170-173F. Noticeable improvement of gas mileage and partial throttle performance mostly in city driving.

06.01.07 Great news, I pulled 229.35rwhp and 228.77rwhp respectively @5200 SAE Smoothing of 5. in 98F Houston temperatures at 1100-1200CST. For those of you wondering; this is about 263-270hp/torque at the crank. All with 0 mpg loss. Jason did a great job tuning my thing; had some complications with a lose IAT sensor at first but he smoothed out the band almost perfectly. Those of you looking for the IMRC lag; he sets the IMRC to activate instantly @ WOT and he set mine to @4400rpm. I don't have GT torque; but I got the hp#'s. I'm aiming to go find a stock Z to race and see how I fare. I'll post up time slip #'s when I take this thing out to the track in the near weeks.

05.23.07 The SSM Powerpak Stage 2+ is installed; but the mechanic failed to install my cam. However, I did delete the pre-cats and got the dynotune [without knowing the proper cam wasn't installed!] As you can see there's about a 15rwhp/trq gain across the entire band from P&P heads with upper and lower intake. The SAE correction of 5. Tuned by Jason @ Fastlane Inc. I'm in the middle of contacting Tom to get specifications on cam bearing sizing so I can take my car back for proper re-install.. sigh rental taurus again. Free install, free rental, 20 dollar pre-cat delete, and discounted dynotune. Can't complain too bad. It was almost funny that an entire component didn't get installed.

05.08.07 The Powerpak Stage 2+ is in! Thursday the 10th is when the installation is going to start. I'm having it done at Elite Collision since I work with the owners and managers frequently there. Only 200 installed and free rental, am I lucky or what? Hopefully they can get it done by Saturday and I can get it tuned at Fastlane the same day or monday. I will post up dyno and maybe vids. Anyways, I've uploaded a picture of my baseline dyno. It was a hot day, and long drive with lose air filter.

03.13.07 I decided on the H/C/I swap from SSM at stage 2+. This should boost me quite a bit of safe hp and torque and it'll give me a need to get dyno+tuned. Most of you said that F/I was the way to go, but I feel this way I have better gas conservation and if I ever get bored, I have somewhere to go such as a turbo in the future. The SSM powerpak 2+ is in queue with many others in production at the moment, so I won't be getting this setup installed until end of April. Specs include a new billet ground 218/224 cam.

Estimations should be at 235-250rwhp and a little more for torque; at the crank (which is rated on most stock cars) just add 15%; so we're talking on average 281bhp and the same applies to torque.

Some video footage; again, before the suspension kit.
Rev to 3k then to 6kM
Cold-launch then WOT

I know what you're thinking, a v6 will sound like shit compared to a v8; well, it doesn't sound half bad. Sounds much better in real life than on a shitty little Canon Elph camera. Here's a comparison GT with the following mods:
Year: 2002
Mods: JLT Cai,70mm BBK throttle body,C&L plenum No pre cats, highflow magnaflow cats with X-pipe, Dynomax bullet race mufflers, 2.5in piping all the way back. Stock headers.

GT Rev 3k to 6k
