It's finally finished. It was chosen to be a display car at Summit Racing Equipment in Tallmadge Ohio. It's on the showroom turnstile for two weeks. Here are a few pics.
I installed new valve covers, new carburetors correct for the 427 dual quad and detailed the engine compartment so that now I think I can finally say it's "done". Here are a few pics of the updated engine.
The fastback won the editor's choice award at the NMRA/Ford Expo show at National Trail Raceway in Columbus Ohio and a magazine photographer did a photo shoot on it for Modified Mustangs and Fords magazine. They called to let me know that it will be featured in the January 2010 issue and it will be out on store shelves the first week of Dec. 2009. I hope you'll all pick up a copy and check it out!
